Kāhui Legal congratulates the Victoria University Vis Moot team who recently travelled to Vienna to complete in the world’s largest international commercial arbitration moot, the 26th annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. After preparing for the moot for five months the team headed to Malaysia, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Slovenia, Serbia and Germany to compete in a series of pre moots. The team did extraordinarily well taking out first place in the Czech Republic, third place in both Denmark and Slovenia, and fourth place in Sweden. At the final competition in Vienna, the team made it to the quarter-finals, placing in the top 8 out of 372 teams from 87 countries. Former Kahui Legal summer clerk and legal intern Shea-Lee Phillips was a member of this team which Kāhui Legal proudly sponsored and supported.
